I do love being outside in my gardens---But, when the hot, humid summer heat comes, that's another story.
Your trees and shrubs sound wonderful. I'm hoping our hydrangea bushes bloom this year. Last year they did not as we had a hard winter. Hope springs eternal in the garden. ♥The Joy of Home with Martha Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02912198511168813613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7664100447631245881.post-16371984962499626782015-04-17T21:42:23.910-04:002015-04-17T21:42:23.910-04:00Martha Ellen, your garden is perfectly lovely!! I am sorry to say that I have never been much of an outdoor gal...although I do love to see beautifully tended gardens (when the weather is perfect). ;)

Blooming in our yard right now: quince, Bradford pear trees, and forsythia (although it is waning). I am delighted to see the hydrangea bushes' new leaves and the red honeysuckle will be blooming soon. It is fast becoming an equal favourite of mine, with Autumn.
Interesting to see that your goldfinches looks pretty much the same as ours! Usually, our birds share name but are quite different in appearance, such as the American and British robins. I think our woodpeckers are very similar too.
Now that Spring is springing, let our thoughts turn to warmer days ahead ~~~Deb in WalesRustic Pumpkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07335714529878600216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7664100447631245881.post-40424483744915484372015-04-16T23:54:03.904-04:002015-04-16T23:54:03.904-04:00Who can resist the spring?
