Alex's Birthday

Our grandson Alex turned 12 years old on the first day of spring.  We were all happy to help him celebrate at his home with kid's favorites of pizza, cake and ice cream. It was so nice to have the whole family together to help Alex celebrate.  His Aunt Noel was visiting from New Hampshire so that helped to make it more fun.

Alex is a bright young man that we love so very much.  We learned that Alex made the tennis team on Monday after his birthday. He loves tennis and really wanted to make the team.  Congratulations sweetie!  Stay as sweet as you are now!

Alex looks so much like his Dad when he was a little boy.  It's sure fun to see him growing up to be a nice young man.  Grandchildren are such a blessing and we are blessed to have three wonderful grandsons!

    1. Vee, Alex has worked very hard to make the tennis team--I'm glad he likes a sport that is not as dangerous as some. His brother Miles plays soccer and that is a good fit for him. ♥

  3. Happy Birthday to Alex! I have a nephew and daughter-in-law with the same birthday, so it makes the coming of Spring even better. You must have a handsome son if he looks like Alex. :-)

    1. I think I do have a very handsome son, Cathy. Of course a mother would think that! It was a beautiful early Spring day to go outside and enjoy the sunshine- the children could run and burn off some energy. ♥

  8. Happy Birthday Alex! And congratulations on making the tennis team!! I liked tennis in my school days too. I never played on a team though. I just helped my friend practice for the boys team. We were from WI, and after high school I didn't know where his family moved. They have been in Richmond, VA all this time!
